Thanks For Coming to EXP Con 2009!
EXP Con Returns October 8-10, 2010!
The EXP Con staff would like to thank everyone who helped make our second convention a huge success! Thanks to all the attendees, volunteers, guests, dealers, artists, and hotel staff that made October 9-11, 2009 a weekend to remember. The attendance has been tallied and we have more than doubled this year to 2,213 paid attendees which also includes those who took advantage of the free pass per night stayed at the convention hotel deal. We are already working hard on 2010 which will be held at the same location October 8-10. The EXP Con staff are fan's like you who are dedicated to bringing the attendees the best experience possible, but if you would like to contribute please send us some feedback by contacting us at Ryan_Sweat@expcon.org. We are always looking for ways to improve the experience. In the near future EXP Con attendees should be on the lookout for our next one day show which will be centered around the North American release of Final Fantasy 13 sometime in the spring and EXPodcast, a podcast where all things EXP Con, video games, anime, and manga are discussed for your listening pleasure. We will also be launching our gaming community EXPGamer relatively soon that will be full of previews, first impressions, reviews, and other such things we are sure gamers will enjoy.
Thank you everyone for coming out to EXP Con 2009! We will continue to grind so that the experience gets better and better every year. See you soon in 2010! EXP Convention is a weekend long all ages event to be held at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village’s St. John’s County Convention Center. The main purpose of EXP Con is to celebrate and promote American and Japanese video gaming, Japanese animation also known as anime, manga which are Japanese graphic novels, cosplay which is the act of creating and modeling costumes based on characters from Japanese and American media, and other facets of Japanese culture. |
